We offer £5.99 standard delivery to our Mainland UK customers. “Standard Delivery” means that your item should arrive during working hours (9am – 7pm) on a working day (Monday – Friday). Unfortunately we do not offer standard delivery outside Mainland UK. “Premium Delivery” charges may be applicable.

 

Please Note: We do not provide any tracking information.

 

Estimated Delivery Times

 

It is our aim to get your order to you as quickly as we can. Delivery terms on this page apply to all orders. We are generally able to deliver majority of our orders within 7 – 10 working days whilst some items are delivered quicker.

Inevitably, some items may take longer than others. We therefore advise that you should always check the ‘estimated delivery’ section on your selected product page prior to making the purchase. We supply our products to customers at affordable prices and seek to deliver your orders in a fast and convenient manner; only using couriers with a proven track record for speed, customer service and reliability.

Delivery Instructions

 

Should you wish to leave any specific delivery instructions for the courier, you will be able to do so by entering them in the “Comments box” during checkout process.  Any alterations to the delivery method, for instance by instructing us to leave your parcel in a safe place, will result in The Furniture Home taking no responsibility for the non-delivery of the item.

 

 

Missed Deliveries

 

If delivery is attempted by the courier while no one is present at the property, the courier will leave a card through the door with a telephone number for the purpose of re-arranging delivery. Please call that number and re-arrange delivery to an alternative standard delivery date at no extra cost.

 

Courier / Supplier may call you to arrange a suitable delivery time and if you are not present at the property at the time arranged, we may charge you to re-delivery the item again.

 

 

Our Delivery Obligations

  • We will deliver your item(s) to you in the condition stated by us on this website i.e. new unless otherwise stated.
  • We will dispatch your item(s) to you in a timely fashion.
  • Please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any errors caused by the courier. Even though we do use a reliable courier service, some delivery issues may occur that are outside our control.
  • In case of delivery delay or failure, and/or the failure of the courier to provide an adequate explanation to you, we will intervene on your behalf and rearrange delivery.

 

 

Your Delivery Obligations

  • Upon receipt of the item(s), it is your responsibility to check the condition of the package and packaging. If the item looks damaged or dirty from the outside, please do not accept it. If you accept damaged delivery, you will not be able to make a claim for return / exchange for damage caused in transit. Even slight damage must be recorded with delivery driver and failure to do so will invalidate any claims.
  • Should you need to make any changes to your delivery details, you will need to inform us via e-mail to support@thefurniturehome.co.uk or by filling out the contact us form. We are unable to make changes once your order has been dispatched.
  • In case of delivery delay or failure, and/or the failure of the courier to provide an adequate explanation, you must inform us immediately

 

 

COVID-19 Contactless Delivery

 

Your items will be delivered by carriers to the entrance door of your dwelling, or to the front door of your apartment building.

 

Upon our driver’s arrival, please confirm that you are the recipient. We’ll take a picture of the item at your door as proof of delivery. As we won’t be able to bring the item into your home, we recommend that you ask a friend or relative to help.

 

 

Doorstep Delivery

 

Some larger items will be delivered by carriers to the entrance door of your dwelling, or to the front door of your apartment building. In case of a very heavy/large shipments or palletised items (e.g. garden sheds) a curb side delivery service might take place.

 

Room of Choice Delivery

 

Note: We regret to inform you that we’re currently unable to offer this service due to COVID-19. Instead of a delivery to your room of choice, our delivery team will perform a doorstep delivery.

 

Please note: Unfortunately, we are currently unable to ship to postcodes within the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. Furthermore, in limited situations, due to network requirements, we are unable to deliver certain products, including but not limited to certain large items, to certain postcodes in the UK. This exclusion applies regardless of the quantity. All fees and delivery limitations are clearly marked in the shopping basket and throughout checkout.

 

Late Delivery

 

The Furniture Home offers no compensation for loss of earnings, storage of goods or other costs incurred due to late delivery.
